lift music project video

lift music project

My intention is to play with sounds that the participants feel emotional about in a place they pass every day

This is the form that the possible participants had to fill in. It has information about their tastes and the sounds that they like or hate.

final song tracking

This is the exploration I did on socialization sounds. It is an idea of how the song could sound. However, it depends on the participants, their order and the way they enter the space. It goves an idea of how the sounds are joined one by one.

The socialization sounds of this song are: yawning, a spoon on a dish, rubbing hands (waiting for food), whispering, pourring a liquid in a cup and moving the nails on a table.

jewelry project (first approach)

This is a first approach to the jewelry project and its music. There are 4 speakers in the room. One in each corner. A kinect is on the ceiling sending images to the computer. The interaction place is limited on the floor with blue tape on the corners. There are 4 patterns. Each one is given to 4 participants. Each pattern is recognized as a sound.

My intention is to create a space of socialization wheere the participants have the role of making a song together. They do so by triggering sounds of accesories they wear

Sound tessellation - jewelry project

For this interactive project I am creating some jewelry pieces that can trigger sounds in a room as they are worn. The objects I am creating are made with recycled papers (event flyers and tetrapak). That's why I decided to work with some tessellation origami techniches. So far, this is the result of my research.
